Kimonos Dragão (means Dragon !) established since 1974, produces premium quality martial arts uniforms (kimonos).

We started this business in Brazil as a familiar one, with just two employees. At that time, we were thinking in top quality martial arts uniforms to please ourselves as many in our family and friends were involved with Judo, Jiu-Jitsu and Karate. Soon, the best fighters of that time came to us ordering their own kimonos. With lots of hope and hard work, we left our garage and moved to a larger space, hiring more employees and then, Dragão became the "number one" producer in the whole country where Judo is the second major sport practiced by Brazilians after the soccer game. Always in the forefront, Dragão was the first producer to make the white "gis" (japanese word for uniforms) and in 1993 we made the first blue "gi", even before this colour have been approved by the IJF – International Judo Federation.

Considered a producer that always looks for high quality developments, Dragão is also requested by many world famous sporting brands as MIZUNO, EVERLAST and BAD BOY to produce their own private label kimonos sold worlwide.These are some of the reasons why Dragão is considered by Masters and Champions as "The Premium Class" kimonos of extra endurance, comfort and high performance for serious fighters.
